Welcome to SoulParlor! As protagonists of the international broken beat scene for more than 15 years, this German-based production and DJ collective intends on seriously effecting your minds and bodies with their sonic fusion of bass culture, house vibes and hip hop grooves.
'Evoluzion' is backwards for 'Noiz U Love' and reflects the musical range of their incredibly eclectic DJ sets. Conceptualized as a truly collaborative album, all 19 tracks feature SoulParlor's music partners over the years, who for the most part came to their home studio in Mainz to create in the flesh. Guest vocalists featured include Cecilia Stalin (Koop), Jacob And The Appleblossom (Wagner Love), Colonel Red, Oddisee, Replife, Stan Smith and others. Even the bonus remixes are delivered from longtime collaborators from West London and beyond including legends of the underground such as Afronaut, Daz-I-Kue (Bugz In The Attic), Dego (4hero), MdCL, Pure P, Souled and TDR's boogie maestro Opolopo. This evoluzion just started!

Replife

Cecilia Stalin
Since her breakthrough with the nu-jazz duo Koop and their soundtrack for the Woody Allen movie 'Match Point', Cecilia regularly performs live around Stockholm and London.
MdCL
Half-NZ, half-Japanese producer and Rhodes master who has been involved in over 200 releases over the last years, incl. collabos with Lauryn Hill, Jody Watley etc.
Pure P
Producer/DJ responsible for music projects such as 'Up Hygh' and 'Hygher Baby' on Raw Fusion Records, also runs a successful soul/boogie club in Stockholm called Devotion.
Oddisee
Producer/MC extraordinaire who has already worked with the likes of Gary Shider of Parliament and Funkadelic, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Talib Kweli, J-Live, Little Brother and many more.
Dego
Founding member of 4Hero and mastermind of projects like Tek 9, Jacob's Optical Stairway, DKD & Silhouette Brown, Dego has spearheaded new music since the early 90s.
Afronaut
Prolific member of London's 'Bugz In The Attic' and 'Coop' collectives. Recently teamed up with MdCL for some new remixes and rumour is he's even preparing a new solo album.
